How do you clean skewers?

The skewers are made of steel and have a wooden handle. It's best to remove any residue from the skewers with a wire brush immediately after use. Afterwards, you can rinse the skewers with water. For stubborn residue on the skewers, you can add a little detergent for cleaning. Be careful and use as little soap as possible, as this can lead to rust.
